Terms of use
Effective date:
These terms are an agreement between you and Rahul Rana, an individual based in India, for the Upwork Job Scorer Chrome extension and this website. If you do not agree, do not use the extension and do not buy Pro.
Free features need no payment. Pro is US $8 per month, billed monthly by Dodo Payments as merchant of record, when checkout is open. You can cancel anytime. Access continues until the end of the paid period. You can request a refund within 14 days of your first purchase. You are responsible for following Upwork’s terms. The extension does not bid, message, or submit for you.
Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the extension for your own freelancing. The extension is licensed, not sold. You may not resell it, rent it, or present it or this website as a product of Upwork Inc. You may not use it to break the law.
Pro is for adults. Do not buy Pro if you are under 18.
Free and Pro
Free includes scoring, the hide filter, the Connects estimate, Chrome alerts, and 1 saved search. Free does not require payment and does not require an xAI API key.
Pro costs US $8 per month. Pro includes up to 100 saved searches and AI proposal drafts, as well as the Free features. You bring your own xAI API key. API usage is billed by xAI, not by us. No API key is included with Free or Pro.
Neither plan submits bids, messages clients, or types into Upwork. Optional Telegram alerts are not a separate paid add-on. If you turn them on, they use your own bot token and chat ID.
Checkout is not open on this website yet. The Pro button on the home page is a placeholder and does not start a subscription or a charge.
Billing
When Pro checkout is available, the subscription is US $8 per month, billed monthly, through Dodo Payments as merchant of record. Dodo Payments processes the payment under its own terms and privacy policy. We receive order and licence information needed to deliver Pro, such as an email address and licence-key status.
Applicable taxes are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. If a renewal payment fails, Pro access can end. The payment itself is covered by Dodo Payments’ terms. How we handle order and licence information is described in the privacy policy.
Cancellation
You can cancel Pro anytime. Email rahul.dev.240801@gmail.com and ask to cancel. When checkout is live, you can also use the cancellation method Dodo Payments provides with your purchase.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Access continues until the end of that period. Cancelling stops the next charge. It does not, by itself, refund a charge already made. Refunds are in the next section.
Refunds
You can request a refund within 14 days of your first Pro purchase by emailing rahul.dev.240801@gmail.com. We will refund that first purchase. The refund is issued through Dodo Payments, the merchant of record.
The 14-day window runs from the first purchase, not from later renewal charges. Where a law that applies to you requires a refund these terms cannot narrow, that law still applies.
You can cancel anytime, including during or after that 14-day window. After you cancel, access continues until the end of the paid period.
Upwork
You are responsible for using the extension in compliance with Upwork’s terms. Upwork’s terms may restrict automated access. The extension does not bid, message, or submit proposals, and it does not type into Upwork. Saved-search checks fetch a search URL with your own Upwork session while Chrome is open.
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Upwork Inc. Upwork is a trademark of Upwork Inc. Your Upwork account, your Connects balance, and anything you choose to submit are yours. We are not responsible for a decision Upwork makes about your account.
The Connects saved figure is an estimate. It uses the job’s own Connects price when that price is on the page, otherwise 8. It does not go down if you show a job again, and it is not Upwork’s ledger.
AI drafts
A draft is a first pass from a model. It can be wrong, incomplete, misleading, or a poor fit for the job. You review it before you copy it or send it anywhere. The extension does not type it into Upwork and does not submit it. You choose the text you keep.
Drafts use your own xAI API key against the endpoint you configure. The default is the OpenAI-compatible API at https://api.x.ai/v1. Model output is not legal, financial, or professional advice. xAI bills your key’s usage, not us.
Third-party services
xAI and Telegram are third-party services under their own terms. Charges, rate limits, and availability are between you and them. We do not control their models, prices, or uptime. If you point drafts at another OpenAI-compatible host, that host’s terms apply, and Chrome may ask permission for that origin.
Dodo Payments is the merchant of record for Pro. Card processing and Dodo’s own customer terms are theirs. This website does not take card details.
Warranty disclaimer
The extension, the scores, the alerts, the Connects estimate, the drafts, and this website are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that a score will match your view of a job, that an alert will arrive on a fixed clock, that a draft will win work, or that badges will keep appearing if Upwork changes its pages. Alerts run only while Chrome is open and can be delayed when the computer sleeps. Checks are sequential, about every 5–10 minutes with jitter, and at most 8 searches in a cycle. A missing signal is not a promise that a job is good or bad.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Rahul Rana is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost Connects, lost jobs, lost data, or action taken by Upwork or by a third-party service, even if advised that those losses were possible.
Our total liability for a claim relating to the extension or this website is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the three months before the claim. If you only used Free, that cap is zero.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of India, including liability for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where the law does not allow that limit.
Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version on this page and changing the effective date. If a change would reduce the refund or cancellation rights of a period you have already paid for, the previous terms still cover that period. If you do not agree with an update, stop using the extension and cancel Pro.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India have jurisdiction. If a mandatory consumer-protection law where you live gives you a right these terms cannot take away, that right still stands.
